Contact corrections, missing names, bugs

One address for everything: [email protected]. A person reads it, and replies usually within a few days.

What to write about

A name that is wrong. If a character is not used as a name, if a tone or reading is off, if a surname is not real, or if the meaning we give a character is wrong — say which page and what should change. Corrections from native speakers are the main way the tables improve.

A name we are missing. Tell us the name and, if you know it, the Chinese name you or your family already use. Names that people actually carry get priority over names that merely rank in search.

A bug. A character that comes out blank, a seal that looks wrong, an image that will not download, a page that breaks on your phone or browser. A screenshot and the name you typed is enough to reproduce most of them.

Licensing, press and everything else

Font licensing questions, requests to reuse our text, or anything about the MCP/API endpoints: the same address works. The seals you generate are yours to use — see the terms of use for the plain-language version.

What we cannot do

We cannot certify that a Chinese name is appropriate for a legal document, an identity record or an official registration. The names here are prepared carefully and explained honestly, but a Chinese name is a cultural matter with family and regional dimensions that a website cannot see. Before you commit a name to a passport, a legal filing, or a stone you intend to keep for thirty years, have a native speaker — ideally someone from the region your family is connected to — read it.

Privacy

What the site collects and how advertising cookies work is set out in the privacy policy. In short: the generator runs in your browser, and there are no accounts to delete.
